Buttercup Cottage is a traditional thatched cottage in the seaside village of Clogherhead, Co Louth, with added comfort. Buttercup Cottage is on the main street. It has been recently renovated and is an idyllic, 3 bed roomed holiday home, available to rent.
Forty miles from Dublin, its a great place for a holiday, with great golf, sandy beaches, an activity centre right in the village. There is lots to do in the area. It is close to Seapoint(3 miles), Baltray(5 miles) and Townley(10 miles) golf courses, the beach is 2 minutes walk away, as is the head which makes a great walk. It is near Newgrange and the Battle of the Boyne, and many other interesting sites. The Neptune Adventure Centre at the beach offers land and sea activities.
The house is child friendly, with an enclosed garden.
Availability: The cottage is available for weeks, weekends and mid week rentals throughout the year. Prices range from €300 - €550 per week and from €175 for a weekend.
